Low field NMR (20MHz) to measure the hydration of skin

Products

Information

Innovative methods using low field NMR were developped to characterize the hydration state of skin on in vitro models. For this, explants or reconstituted skin samples are used. These methods can be used for example to study the efficacy of an active ingredient implicated in the hydration of skin, to compare the hydration capacity of skin submitted to different aggressive treatments, to evaluate the benefice of a skin care. It does not exist today comparable analytical tool to study and follow the hydration state (fast and relevant).
