Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC) is a cosmetic cluster located in Karatsu city, Saga Prefecture. The cluster creates a support system for the expansion into global markets, and aims to revitalize the regional economy through the transformation of local resources into cosmetics, and through its professional network, together with the collaboration with industry, academia, and government.  

Description
In the framework of the "New natural ingredient development" project, JCC supports the little community of a Japanese island (Kakarashima) for the transformation of the precious Camellia Japonica trees, that have been growing wild on the island for centuries, into local organic ingredients to be used in cosmetics.
